Training as SCHWARZ-worker

New trainees have started their professional training

Six young people started their apprenticeship at SCHWARZ on September 1st! In our training professions precision machinist, process technician, mechatronics engineer, industrial clerk and skilled warehouse logistics they will be supported by five trainers. Currently, 15 young people are undergoing training at SCHWARZ.

On the first day, the focus was on getting to know the company and gaining an insight into the future working environment at Schwarz. After a round of introductions and a tour of the company, the six-person group started with the popular trainee quiz. The task was to answer a wide variety of questions about the company and the new colleagues in order to get to know the company quickly. During a joint lunch in the canteen, the "newcomers" took advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas with the previous trainees and trainers.

Right in the first week of the new training year, the trainees experienced an exciting and funny two-day trainee trip. An unexpectedly long canoe trip on a river and a game night at a cottage in Austria required perseverance and team spirit. After a rich breakfast the next day it went on with a factory tour at Meusburger, a supplier of Gebr. Schwarz. Here, trainees and instructors were able to gain impressive impressions about the production of standard parts. On the way home we made a stopover at Affenberg in Salem and everybody was able to stretch their feet.

We are pleased about the successful start of our new apprentices and wish them every success and joy in their training as SCHWARZ workers!
