Ultrasonic measurement at the decisive moment
In an emergency, the route cause of a problem must be identified as quickly as possible. This is also valid when it comes to our health. This is now possible with the mobile ultrasound device Venue from GE Healthcare. Venue stands for a completely new system concept for diverse applications in the point-of-care area. The robust premium console ultrasound system can also be used mobile in acute situations.
In cooperation with Gebr. Schwarz GmbH, an even better monitor for the portable ultrasound device of GE Healthcare was developed and perfected by the years of know-how of Gebr. Schwarz GmbH. Only ten weeks after the commissioning of the project, the first parts of the monitor were already available. Since then, Gebr. Schwarz GmbH has been manufacturing several key plastic components for the monitor of the venue. Thanks to the extensive machinery, the large monitor parts, which were realized on a machine with a clamping force of 1,000 tons, can be produced reliably in series. Materials such as PC-ABS, TPE or a crystal clear Makrolon material are used for the production of the injection molded parts.
Once again Gebr. Schwarz GmbH proved to be a system partner that accompanies its customers from the early development phase through to series production. This was made possible above all by a motivated and well-rehearsed team and the good cooperation with GE Healthcare. By developing the venue, we have once again taken a step forward in medical technology.
