Completion of the 10,000 Steps Challenge
Everything comes to an end, and so did the 10,000 Steps Challenge at Gebr. Schwarz. In June, 56 participants set out to walk around Germany. After our winning teams were honoured at the 2025 summer party, it was now time to hand over the ‘prize money’ in the form of donations to the respective institutions.
The ‘SCHWARZ Turtles’ team came in first place. The team unanimously decided to donate €500 to the kindergarten in Neukirch. The cheque was presented by the team in person at the kindergarten.
Second place went to the ‘Wir tun es laufend’ team. All team members were keen to donate the prize money of €300 to the children's and youth hospice in Rottweil. Third place went to the ‘Schwungrad der Firma’ team, which donated €200 to the Wärmestube Rottweil. The donations were handed over to the children's and youth hospice and the Wärmestube at the Schwarz company premises.
This marks the end of the 10,000 Steps 2025 campaign. The organising team and everyone involved can look back on an exciting time. The institutions that benefited from our donations were very pleased and grateful.
