A further step towards energy self-sufficiency
Gebr. Schwarz GmbH is planning to complete and commission an additional 76 kWp facade photovoltaic system in April 2025. This expansion represents a significant step towards independence from the electricity market and increases the proportion of self-generated electricity.
Façade PV system as an ideal complement to surface PV systems:
- Optimized use of space: Facade PV systems use unused vertical surfaces to generate electricity, ideal for buildings without suitable roof surfaces.
- Ease of maintenance: Vertically mounted solar modules are less susceptible to snow, leaves and rainwater deposits, which makes cleaning easier.
- Improved winter performance: Facade PV systems can work more efficiently in winter as they are less covered by snow and make better use of the flat sun.
With the new facade PV system, Gebr. Schwarz GmbH is setting another milestone on the road to energy self-sufficiency. The systems installed on the company premises not only contribute to sustainable electricity generation but also support the long-term economic stability of the company.
