16th >>starter<< training fair in Rottweil

SCHWARZ draws positive balance

The 16th edition of the starter fair has again taken place in the familiar surroundings of the Stadthalle in Rottweil. 40 percent of all apprenticeship positions are unfilled, as reported by the Institute of the German Economy at the end of April. It is also existentially important for Gebr. Schwarz GmbH to train motivated junior staff. SCHWARZ was represented at the training fair with 92 exhibitors and presented the company's apprenticeships and degree programs in theory and practice:

  • Process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology m/f/d
  • Precision mechanic m/f/d
  • Mechatronics technician m/f/d
  • Warehouse logistics specialist m/f/d
  • Industrial clerks m/f/d
  • IT system management clerks m/f/d
  • DH study mechanical engineering m/f/d

Trainers and apprentices gave insight into the professional worlds of SCHWARZ and explained the professions of process mechanic and precision mechanic to the visitors at a running injection molding machine. For some students, this aroused curiosity and the desire to get to know the professions in an internship. The 3D printer in operation was also noticed with great interest by the visitors.

The interest of students and parents in our training program was great. Although the number of visitors was lower than in previous years, the conversations were of higher quality - says Kathrin Meboldt, head of training at SCHWARZ.
