With the Voluson E10 GE Healthcare has developed a new generation of ultrasound devices which enables better and quicker imaging of the unborn child. The Voluson E10 offers in addition to significantly increased detail accuracy also impressive visualization options that open new perspectives and establish a new quality for prenatal diagnosis.
Gebr. Schwarz was challenged by GE Healthcare to provide all molds within 10 weeks „ready-for-production“, which includes the sampling process and all the qualification reports.
All requirements of GE Healthcare were reached by full customer satisfaction. Gebr. Schwarz has proven its competencies as a perfect partner.
The entire value-chain can be supplied by Gebr. Schwarz with the existing machine park, by only one supply source: starting from small kinematic parts and ending up with huge covers.
Those parts require clamping forces from 40to up to 1300to. The smallest part has a total weight of only 1 gram whereas the biggest part weights 2.3 kg! The in house Laser marking and ultrasonic welding of all the parts are guaranteeing high design flexibility, at best quality as well as reliable lead times.
In this project Gebr. Schwarz acts as a system supplier to GE Healthcare and demonstrates once again, comprehensively competences in plastic technology.
