KM 650 GX in operation

The injection molding machine Krauss Maffei 650 GX comes with impressive technical parameters. One of the main features is a 24” user-friendly splitscreen monitor. Production processes as well as adjustment parameters are present at first sight. A newly designed hydro mechanic two-platen technology helps to increase lifetime of molds significantly. Higher machine uptime, less maintenance effort and longer mold endurance are saving costs and are leading into real competitive advantages.
A good decision of Gebr. Schwarz to take this invest! Also environmental aspects played a major role in this decision. Having a “Go Eco” function the machine can adjust itself to energetically most advantageous setup. The 650GX has a sophisticated mold tempering system including flow and temperature measurement. Those data are supporting analyzes and optimizations of injection molding processes. Molds with a weight of up to 12.000kg and a maximum injection volume of 1810cm³ can be used. Clamping forces up to 6500N can be realized.
