Huge team at Freiburg Marathon
On March 29th a team of 15 endurance trained athletes made early in the morning the way to Freiburg to the 12th Freiburg Marathon. Gebr. Schwarz GmbH was already present at this event in the last years, but at this time the company represented the biggest running group.
Whether the half marathon or the relay of 7 km and 14 km - in spite of the cold and windy weather, the runners were full of energy. The half-marathon, with its 21 km across the city center of Freiburg was mastered by the trained runners with flying colors. In addition, the scales of Schwarz Weasels, Schwarz Racer and Schwarz Sprinter made its name. At the end of the day, all athletes get a warm meal and a massage deserved against the soreness.
The employees of Schwarz demonstrated team spirit outside the organization. This sporting event is part of the occupational health management of the company. According the motto: "new ways can be generated by walking them" the marathon was another impulse for a collegial cooperation.
